Cinderella and The Ball

I started a Mom School in October.

What's a Mom School you ask?

A “Mom School” describes some kind of group activity, lesson, or club that a mother creates for her own child, and then invites other families to join in. They can be designed to be whatever the mother who runs it needs them to be.

In October we read Perrault's version of Cinderella. We were able to attend a musical based on Cinderella and then I hosted a Ball at our house. Some of the kids dressed up, we put music on, and some of the kids danced. Delia danced. Joshua did not!

This was my one minute costume for Joshua (I just cut up an old shirt of mine with pinking shears) - I was really happy with it! Joshua decided he didn't want to dress up minutes before everyone got here, but at least he let me take a picture.

I made a mural out of craft paper the kids could color on.

And Jason made us a little cardboard castle that the kids have been playing with all week!
