I thought that since we were doing Christmas dinner on our own this year we would try a Tofurky (we are avoiding eating meat at home, but will eat it while we are out - my friend, Ricki introduced me to the term "domestic vegetarian").

Anyway, my sister told me that she wanted pictures, so here they are:
This is my "new to me" Le Creuset dutch oven. I found it at Goodwill just before Christmas. I use it for everything from deep-frying my onion rings on Christmas Eve to the Tofurky for Christmas Day!
Do you think it looks better on the box? I did.

I can't believe you found a Le Creuset at Goodwill! You are so lucky!! I love my dutch oven, but Doug found it at the store!
Doug wants to know how much Goodwill charged you.
Let me know if anyone actually requests the tofurkey!!
Your plate of food looks delicious. Thanks for the shout-out! :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! By the way, I made two dolls for my nieces and they LOVE them. Thanks!
No meat? Tofurkey? Is it time for an intervention? :)
The dinner looks great (don't know about the tofurkey, I've never had it...maybe I'll request it!).
can you make a tofurkey when we come visit?!?! :-/
we miss you guys!
Don't you love your Le Creuset? I have one that I use ALL the time...but mine was from Costco...I never thought about checking good will. You're so awesome! We've been trying to eat less meat at home too, but aren't anywhere near your status. Please keep sharing your cooking adventures-I love reading about them!
I am actually a person who likes tofu (in stir-fry, etc.) but nothing I've seen makes me tempted to try a Tofurky. I'm glad to know I'm not missing out on anything. This is the first I've heard the term "domestic vegetarian" and it's an interesting concept. We're trying to "eat meat sparingly" with mixed success, so this is all food for thought.
