"But mom, I look so cute in my swimsuit. Don't you think?" I tried to discourage her, "It's not something I would choose to wear. It doesn't look comfortable to me." And finally I gave in (after some persistent screaming on her part). Who cares if she wears her swimsuit over her clothes? If she feels good about it I can let it go. Right?
It was easier on the second day. This time there was no battle.
And you know what? I do think she looks pretty cute!

Yes, she does look cute! I love it...we fight those battles around here too- Gracie wants to wear her leotard everyday! She's adorable!
You know, I have lost that battle more than once too. But hey, as long as she's clothed, it really doesn't matter. I have taken Auri shopping in a witches outfit, complete with a hat. oh well, at least she was dressed...
