Spring Break Camping!

We had a fun Spring Break adventure of camping down the Oregon Coast.

Thanks to Jason's tarp set-up we stayed mostly dry during the downpours!

This was taken at Cape Disappointment before we crossed into Oregon.

Joshua has been studying about Lewis and Clark this year at school, so we made quite a few Lewis and Clark stops along our adventure.

Jason and I at the Astoria Column. It was quite a view from the top and a little windy! Joshua flew a glider from the top and it traveled for at least a minute in the wind. It was fun to watch.

This shipwreck is The Peter Iredale that is located at Fort Stevens in Oregon. We were the only ones in tents that night. It was wet and chilly, but we stayed warm and dry. The wind was blowing us off our feet when we went to check out the shipwreck!

We all loved the Tillamook tour - especially the ice cream at the end.

We went all the way down to Crescent City and stayed at Jedidiah Smith to check out the redwoods. We had the nicest campsite there, but didn't take a picture. I guess the camera went away for the rest of the trip because after the camping we traveled to Medford and visited with family and all ran the Pear Blossom. It was so fun to see everyone - wish I had gotten some photos. Maybe Grandpa Mike can send me some?!
