The older kids are sleeping in today. Jason's been working late the past couple of nights and I let the kids stay up to see him last night. So it was me and Eliza taking care of the animals this morning.
This little one is obsessed with the animals! She has to gather and carry the eggs or there will be screaming all the way back to the house!
Here is a picture of our cows. T-Bone in front and Effie in the back. The plan was to start milking them this week, but we are still needing to build a stanchion (and with Jason's longer hours at work this week it hasn't happened).
Hopefully we'll have fresh milk next week!
And miracle of miracles Eliza made it all the way back to the house with all of the eggs intact!

So fun to see! I can't believe how big Eliza is getting. I know they grow up and all, but still surprises me how fast they do. And yay Eliza! Good job getting all the eggs back to the house safely. :)

Man you guys have a fun life!! :) That's totally how I grew up when I was really little. Our milk cow's name was Betsy. :)
