I am indebted to my lovely sister for the recipes, they will definitely become Summer favorites in our house!
Raspberry Lemonade
2 c. Lemon juice (approx. 12 lemons)
2 c. Sugar
9 c. Water
1 c. Raspberries
Puree raspberries and then add remaining ingredients to blender.
I decided that I was too lazy to juice the lemons, so I just peeled them with a knife and threw them in the blender and strained out the pulp and seeds when I was done!
Brazilian Limeade
2 limes
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
3 cups water
ice
Wash limes thoroughly. Cut off the ends and slice into eight wedges. Place limes in a blender with the sugar, sweetened condensed milk, water, and ice. Blend in an electric blender, pulsing 5 times. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove rinds. Serve over ice.
As a side note: I didn't have sweetened condensed milk in the house and found a recipe for making my own here. It worked great in this recipe.
