Perspective

Last night was book club, after we talk about the book we usually chat for a bit. Last night we talked about this article. I had read it in last month's Ensign and was grateful for the perspective it gave me. I think I might have cried, but maybe that was the last trimester hormones kicking in! Hope you read it and enjoy it!

Well, I've been out of the blog circle lately, but it was fun to touch base with your cute family! Congrats on the new baby!!! Hope all is well!

I liked that article too. Or the one where two women were enemies and unkind to each other for a long time. But, after one passed away, the other found out she was actually best friends with this lady through their writing. So sad. I think too often I sweat the small stuff. Thanks for sharing.

I loved the article too Christina. It was depressing to think how easy it is to do things like that, but very good to stop and think about how we treat others. What book did you read for book club?

These is My Words by Nancy Turner - it is a sad book, but I love it!

i've had it opened on my computer ever since you posted the blog but didn't get around to it until this morning when one the counselors in the RS pres called asking me to take over for her in our ward welfare meeting the morning. so i thought i would use this as the thought. read it, loved it. turned out they didn't expect me to do the thought and was off the hook. :D
